Join Jenny Thirtle – Assistant Director at the School of FM Alexander Studies, and Caroline Blackshaw, yoga and Alexander Technique Teacher from Yoga Hut, Brighton – for 5 wonderful days and nights in the North Queensland rainforest at Sanctuary Retreat, near Mission Beach.
Our day will begin at 7am with a morning yoga practice, as the sun rises and the birds fill the bush with song, (you may even spot the resident Cassowary). After a healthy, tasty breakfast we will have a two hour group Alexander Technique class, followed by a delicious lunch. There will ample time to enjoy and expIore the beautiful bush and beach walks around the Centre. In the afternoon we will be applying Alexander principles in a 1.5 hour yoga class, after which you can take in the view over the bay while enjoying a gourmet dinner.
Over the 5 days you will receive two private Alexander Technique lessons, where you will be able to explore regular activities and habits of body and mind that most interest you.
Three delicious vegetarian meals per day are included in the cost. (On the final day only breakfast is included).
